Citizen campaign "Weil's hilft!" (Because it helps!)

The Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Krebstherapie e.V. with the Carl Gustav Carus-Institut support the citizen campaign "Weil’s hilft!" This campaign is sponsored by the health and patient organisations GESUNDHEIT AKTIV, KNEIPP-BUND and NATUR UND MEDIZIN. The intention is to show what opportunities integrative medicine offers patients and what must change politically so that all people who need help can afford this medicine.

For decades, the initiators of the campaign have been committed to the promotion of natural medicine in society, science and politics. They inform and support patients and promote projects in various settings. With this campaign, forces are being bundled to give natural medicine in Germany a clear voice that can no longer be ignored. Not against academic medicine, but at equal level with it. Because we are convinced that the future belongs to the cooperation of natural and conventional medicine. Patients have a right to modern medicine that combines the best of both worlds: High tech as well as the rich treasure of "natural" forms of treatment. The three patient organisations mentioned above already represent together the interests of more than 200,000 people. Further partners have already been added, for example the Federal Association of Patients for Homeopathy (BPH) and the Patient Association Hahnemannia. In June 2019, the European Federation of Natural Remedies also joined the campaign: "And this is only the beginning, because we want to grow and win many additional supporters who are committed to our goals", say the initiators of the campaign „Weil’s hilft!“
